Book Review: Travelers Within – Volume 1

Book Review: Travelers Within – Volume 1

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Travelers Within (Volume 1): Journeys Into Being Human And Beyond by Val Jon Farris, is a self-help book that aims to help us discover our inner being.

The first volume presents definitions like Awareness Sphere, emergence and presence and they are analyzed to a great degree.

The book is full of teachings and ways to heal our inner world. The author basically delivers in this book years of learning, teaching, healing, and applying.

The writer’s stories and also the questions and answers that are set by people and answered by the author provide another way of relating to the concepts of the author’s method of self-discovery.

It is not an easy book to read at first, but if you stick with it, it will reward you at the end. There are too many definitions at the start and at some point, I felt like I was back in University studying again. The secret is to read it in stages. Read a few pages, learn what the definitions mean to let it sink and then continue. That’s how I did it, I didn’t read the book I study it, that’s the only way to really help yourself understand the method and approach the author offers to better your inner world.

I think that people that are searching for a different way of self-discovery should read this book; it offers something new and exciting.

Highly recommended.
